Nurdles are small plastic pellets that are used as the raw materials in the manufacturing process. During the transport and manufacturing processes, some of these nurdles can be spilt of lost and make their way via waterways into the ocean where that cause harm to wildlife.
Every year the ‘Great Global Nurdle Hunt’ harnesses the power of citizen science to take a global snapshot of the extent of nurdles washed up on world wide beaches. Simply register online and become a nurdle hunter.
